This was an absolutely beautiful book and I’m not just saying that because of the fabulous love story. This book had such tangible characters. I felt like I was living out their experiences, their joy, confusion and turmoil. That I can connect so much to all these characters, speaks very highly of the writer/author of this book. That is pure talent!
It is definitely an emotional read so be prepared! Claudia and Toby are two total opposites, but you know they always say opposites attract! These two have such a heart felt story that you will not want to put this book down. This was a great book and very glad I picked it up.
There is so much I enjoyed about this book, I don’t even know where to begin…. First of all, as an Italian-American from NYC, everything about Claudia and her family was 100% authentic. Secondly, the story was flawless. All of the characters, even the smaller ones, were extremely detailed and well developed. …I like my books steamy, but that definitely did not take away from how much I loved these characters and how deeply I felt their connection. Overall, I just loved everything about this story and I am extremely eager to get my hands on the next book!!
Saving Toby was an outstanding read! From start to finish each character captures your heart! The message of finding your own personal happiness in order to have happiness with another person is beautifully entwined throughout the book! I am looking forward to more of this authors work!
I never expected such a high quality read from a first time author. Saving Toby draws one in from page one and keeps us wondering and excited throughout. It’s a great lesson for the young and inspires the young-at-heart to reminisce. I did not want it to end but at the same time could not put it down until I finished. Great read. Can’t wait for Keeping Claudia.
